Home Comfort Zones is a brand new concept in residential climate control for homes with forced-air heating and cooling systems. We solve one of the most perplexing comfort problems you face - maintaining the same temperature in every room of your home. No more cold or hot spots and no more uneven temperatures upstairs or downstairs; just perfect climate control ... and that’s just the beginning.
The Home Comfort Zones climate control system includes a wireless temperature sensor in each room. (We call them Smart Controllers™ because they are so much easier to use than your conventional thermostat.) But the real key to the system’s success is the clever use of pneumatically controlled dampers (air controlled on/off switches) that are installed behind every register in your home.
You simply set the temperature you want for your entire home on the main display, and the system will keep you perfectly comfortable; but keeping a single temperature throughout your home is just the start. The climate control system interprets information from a variety of sources, including an outside temperature sensor to improve your home’s heating and cooling performance and reduce your energy consumption. The Smart Controller in each room enables MicroClimates™ by allowing each occupant in the home to adjust any room to his or her comfortable temperature (independent of the global home setting). With Home Comfort Zones "warm and cozy" and "cool and comfortable" are no longer mutually exclusive.
The system also allows users to save energy by “turning off” rooms when they are not occupied. With a Smart Controller in every room everyone is more comfortable while heating and cooling energy consumption may be reduced by up to 40%.
